Pin - Pull 5th Wheel Locking Handle

Use the acronym L.A.P. and do not violate the order for unhooking the semi-trailer.

Unhook the trailer in the same order every time, that way you won't rip the air lines off, drop the trailer on the ground, or damage the landing gear.

If you develop the habit of uncoupling the trailer in the same order every time, you can compensate for making mistakes when you are tired or distracted.
