The Greatest Women's 4x400m | Jamaica Destroyed The Field With Incredible Final Leg!

The U20 girls’ 4x400m relay final at the 2025 CARIFTA Games in Trinidad and Tobago turned into a breathtaking exhibition of raw Caribbean speed and teamwork. Jamaica entered as the overwhelming favorite, led by sprint prodigy Shanoya Douglas, who was chasing an incredible fourth gold medal of the meet. The Jamaican squad—Abbrina Wright, Anastasia Hall, Joy Rose, and Douglas—left nothing to chance, executing perfect baton exchanges and setting a blistering rhythm from the opening lap.

Behind them, a fierce battle unfolded for the remaining podium spots. Barbados, energized by their breakout star Kadia Rock, the 400m bronze medalist, delivered a remarkable challenge. Rock’s explosive second leg cut into Jamaica’s lead and lifted her team into medal contention. Then came Anna Nurse, whose outstanding third leg saw Barbados surge past Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago, locking them firmly in silver position heading into the anchor leg.
