पाकिस्‍तान से तनाव के बीच केंद्र सरकार ने कई राज्यों से मॉक ड्रिल करने के लिए कहा है. गृह मंत्रालय ने राज्‍यों को 7 मई को नागरिक सुरक्षा के लिए मॉक ड्रिल करने के लिए कहा है. राज्‍यों को हवाई हमलों से बचने के लिए मॉक ड्रिल का निर्देश दिया है. केंद्र सरकार के इन निर्देशों की टाइमिंग बेहद महत्‍वपूर्ण है. पिछली बार ऐसी मॉक ड्रिल 1971 में आयोजित की गई थी. 1971 में भारत और पाकिस्‍तान के बीच दो मोर्चों पर युद्ध हुआ था. इस युद्ध के 54 सालों बाद अब देश में मॉक ड्रिल होने जा रही है.
