Jonathan will be giving us some insight into the upcoming Cassandra 3.0 release. The 3.0 release will have numerous features and improvements, including:

• Disk-aware vnodes

• Non-frozen UDTs (user defined types)

• Nested collections

• File-based hints

• Json support

• UDFs (user defined functions)

• Global indexes
