Kenai River Sockeye Salmon Bank Fishing August 2021 4K

In only the first 4 days of August alone, 485,691 sockeye salmon passed through the Kenai River sonar site located at River Mile 19 in Soldotna.

Alaska Department of Fish and Game increased the sport fishing bag and possession limit for sockeye salmon, 16 inches or longer, in the Kenai River to six per day and twelve in possession on Thursday, August 5th.
