Earl and Countess of Wessex Begin Caribbean Tour

The Earl and Countess of Wessex have started their Caribbean tour to mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year.

Sophie and Edward began a seven-day tour of three Caribbean nations, St Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Antigua and Barbuda, on Friday.

The earl will conduct an investiture on behalf of Her Majesty, and their royal highnesses will attend a service to mark the Queen’s seventy-year reign.

Today, during a reception at Government House, Their Royal Highnesses presented 13 Duke of Edinburgh’s Intaward Gold Awards.
