Bubble Ring in Platinum & 18ct Yellow Gold | Goldsmith’s Workshop Secrets

This week we go through the making of what is sometimes referred to as a Boodles ring or a bubble ring. We have created our own version of this style. Making a ring using existing and sentimental jewellery with diamonds coming from the clients family etc We LOVE this type of project where we get to make something so full of meaning.

We have a few factors that the we cannot negotiate, practically, we have the customers finger size, the style they’re looking for and the materials they’ve provided. We get to make the magic happen that pulls all these elements together.

There’s a kind of organised randomness to a piece like this, there needs to be balance within imbalance. I loved it, the client loved it and we’d love to know what you think?
