Welcome, Happy Morning! (2023)

I was blessed beyond measure, those last dozen-or-so years in Atlanta, to have amazing resources with which to work: a huge, 5-manual organ, fine brass and timpani players who could handle virtually anything, wonderful choirs, and a singing congregation that packed the church and sang their hearts out. The power of The Resurrection, when represented with such sonic splendor, would make the hair on your neck stand up, and send shivers through your body.

My hope is that this re-creation might give you a taste of that ecstatic joy. May New Life infuse your world. Happy Easter!
