Homemade Hot Dog Chili

A YouTuber commented on a mistake I made regarding the tomato paste. It’s 1 (6 oz) can instead of 1 (8 oz) can. I was hoping to re edit this video without having to re-upload it. Unfortunately, I was unable to do it. I didn’t want to lose all these views.

Homemade Hot Dog Chili

Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground beef
2 cups water (you can add more water if desired)
2 1/2 Tablespoons chili powder
2 Tablespoons ground cumin
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon onion powder
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper (optional)
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
*1 1/2 cups beef stock (If you want your chili thinner, add more beef stock after you’ve boiled the chili down.)
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce

Instructions:
Add the ground beef to the pot. Pour in the water. Use a potato masher to break up the meat until it becomes a paste.

Add the all the ingredients listed above and the cayenne (if using). Stir until well combined.

Cook for about 30 minutes on medium high heat; stirring occasionally until the chili has browned and thickened. If you want it thinner, you can add some more beef broth and stir it until incorporated

Remove pot or pan from heat. Let the chili rest for about 10 minutes before putting on your hot dogs.
