Police say they shot at a man wielding a shotgun in Murfreesboro

An officer-involved shooting in Murfreesboro turned deadly was caught on a neighbor’s camera after an armed, barricaded subject threatened police with a shotgun, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).

A domestic call at a home on the 2600 block of Goose Creek Lane on Sunday afternoon prompted a heavy police response. When Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD) officers arrived, they encountered a man who they said pointed a shotgun at them, and verbally threatened them.
