Brompton bikepacking adventure - camping on sea cliffs! Forget cancer! Yay! Chemo round 3

The idea of this Brompton two-day cycling and camping trip was to find big skies, wild empty space, beaches, and rolling waves... That sounds pretty difficult near London, but I headed to the Hoo Peninsula and the Isle of Sheppey, which I had never been to before, to see what I could find.

Unfortunately my breast cancer came back earlier this year, and I'm on chemotherapy, but I'm really lucky that I've felt good enough to get out with my bike and my tent. Which is obviously brilliant, because I love it! and it makes me feel good. This ride was after my third chemo round. Each round is three weeks. As usual, in the first week after the treatment I felt really poorly, but in week two I got gradually better, and at the end of week three, which is when I feel best, I grabbed the chance to go out on an adventure.
