If you are using software to automate your Amazon PPC advertising bids, you may be making a big mistake. There are dozens of Amazon PPC management software platforms on out there, and many of them work by allowing you to define a "Target ACOS" on your campaigns.

This is what the software uses to determine what flexibility it has in increasing or decreasing the bids on your keywords.

Although you may be successful at lowering your ACOS (Advertising Cost of Sales) to your desired level, you may crush the bid on some of your most important keywords in the process.

This hurts impression share, which hurts CTR (Click Through Rate), which of course, is destructive to your CVR (Conversion Rate).
