Welcome to Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort! This is one of the most beautiful resorts on Disney property…one of the best we have stayed at yet! Port Orleans has great walking areas, great dining options, and activities for the whole family. It’s great for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the theme park crowds and move to a more quiet and relaxed ‘hoteling’ experience.
Accessibility: There is great accessibility around the resort with ample walkways and ramps. It’s also great for individuals with sensory challenges since there is minimal noise and minimal crowds. The dining hall does get crowded during peak dining times such as in the morning and dinner times but not as crowded as the theme parks.
Dining Tips: You can also take your food to go! They have ‘to-go’ packages where you can pack up your food if you want to save some food for later or have it as a snack. There is also room service but this can definitely take a toll on your budget since there is an 18% gratuitity and $3.00 delivery charge added onto your bill. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner options are a better bet when you order and ‘carry-out’ your food since there are more options, including gluten free options, no added fees, and overall you pay less for your food.
