1965 Mercury 500, 50 hp finally started after 19 years, I got this 1981 Seaswirl boat with motor 3 weeks ago for $700. It had a snapped timing belt on top of a bad fly wheel and clogged carbs. I purged the carbs last night with Seafoam and then drained them today. I mixed a 50:1 2 stroke oil and fresh gas. My next step is to take it to a marine mechanic and have her fine tuned
