Hi, there. I'm Trinetra, an Indian transwoman, artist and medical student. This is my first legitimate YouTube video, and with more to come, I will document my pure desi transition in bits and pieces. 😂

This video talks about my journey so far, as I would talk about it to my 13 year old self, a version of me that so desperately longed to find someone queer and relatable on YouTube. Here's hoping this visibility reassures someone out there.

No matter what you identify as, I urge you to hold on. There are resources out there for you, very much in India, no less. There are people and spaces and communities waiting to help. If you've made it this far, throw a search engine a few terms like 'safe spaces for LGBTQ+ people near me' or literally even ask in the comments and you'll find help. It truly does get better!

22 April 2018 marks two months since I started my medical transition, that is hormone replacement therapy. This video is in celebrating that as well.
