Mount Olympus (Όλυμπος όρος) - climbing the highest mountain peak in Greece - Mytikas (Μύτικας) 2 917 m.
In Greek mythology the legends say that this mountain is the mythical home of the gods. After two days spent on the mountain we definitely experienced all its magic :)

0:30 Day 1: From Prionia to Refuge A
Start from Prionia parking spot (1 100 m) near Litochoron village and easy hike to Refuge A (2 100 m) - Spilios Agapitos (Zolotas).
1:16 Day 2: From Refuge A to Mount Olympus
Early in the morning start from Refuge A, ascent via E4 route to Skala (2 866 m) , then short descent and climb of the final slope to the highest point Mytikas (2 917 m).
2:40 Mount Olympus (2 917 m) - Mytikas summit
Reaching the summit and enjoying the most beautiful views of the whole Olympus mountain range, the Aegean sea and even the Chalkidiki peninsula on the horizon. Descent by the same route to the Prionia.
