Velocity® Walk In Heavy Duty Rescue – Wichita Fire Department, KS

Captain Mark Misek is walking around Wichita Fire Department’s Velocity Walk-In Heavy Duty Rescue. This is one of two apparatus that will be used in their rescue unit, this apparatus specifically being used for technical rescues. The custom compartments throughout the apparatus allow for a large variety of equipment to be stored for different deployments. Due to the severe weather in Wichita, a roller system and 9,000-lb straight line pole anchors were added to the apparatus so they are able to deploy boat assets.
