How good can a $17 TPMS really be???

Because I'm too poor to spend $500 on a "real" RV TPMS, I got a cheap Chinese TPMS to use with my 35' trailer as a test... did it work? Here's what I found for performance, including some subjective range testing... and one unexpected caveat common to ALL TPMS's when used on RVs...
