Astrology, the Nodes, Education Cycles and Karma with Jessica Adams

Renowned astrologer Jessica Adams is the go-to astrologer for everyone who values ‘big-picture’ thinking and awesome predictions about global events. We have been following her work for a few years now at ConsciousCafe and we were thrilled to invite her to present this interactive online event for us.

You may know what an astrology chart looks like, showing the planets at a given time and place in their positions within the 12 signs and houses. In addition to the planetary positions, the chart will show other key elements such as the Ascendant or the Nodes of the Moon, which are mathematically-calculated points in the chart.

The North Node and the South Node both tell a story of fate and destiny (karma), in this life and your past lives. In charts, their placements and signs show us our past and current destiny, and they can be helpful pointers to embrace our karmic lessons.

On top of the elements seen in a birth chart, astrology works by looking at transits – the movement over time of planets and points such as the Nodes. The North Node travelling through your astrology chart shows karma from 19 years ago, and 19 years before that – in backwards cycles of time. The South Node, always in the opposite zodiac sign to the North Node, is tied to this too.

As Jessica explains in her weekly online astrology course: “When the North Node and South Node return to the same degree (number) and sign as in your own chart, or into opposite signs (same number) it’s big. It will alter your destiny, even though you have free will. Both signs in your horoscope will come alive at once, in terms of the houses they rule and the life departments you experience the new/old story in.”
In 2020-2022 the North Node is in Gemini and South Node is in Sagittarius, in a cycle where you will be both learning and teaching, but also studying and mentoring – just as you once did.

In tour latest ConsciousCafe online event, Jessica Adams showed us why the years 2001-2003 are coming back – as well as 1983-1984, 1964-1966 and past karma – and taught us to understand how these patterns will impact upon our future and the future of the world we live in.
