Salt & Pepper Crispy Corn Recipe 🌽✨
A restaurant-style classic, now in your kitchen. Balanced flavours, perfect crunch, and just the right warmth of spice—this dish delivers both comfort and excitement in every bite.

🧑‍🍳 Ingredients:
For Coating & Frying:
• 2 cups Sweet Corn (boiled)
• Salt to taste
• ¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder
• 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
• 2 tbsp Refined Flour
• 6–8 tbsp Cornflour
• Splash of Water

For Tossing:
• 1 tbsp Oil
• 1 tbsp Onion (finely chopped)
• 1 tsp Ginger (chopped)
• 1 tbsp Garlic (chopped)
• 1 tbsp each of Yellow, Red Bell Pepper & Capsicum
• 2–3 Slit Green Chillies
• ¼ tsp Vinegar
• Salt to taste
• Freshly Crushed Black Pepper
• Pinch of Sugar
• Spring Onion Greens

🔪 Method:
1️⃣ Blanch the Corn:
Boil sweet corn for 3–4 mins. Drain and let cool.

2️⃣ Coat the Corn:
Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, pepper. Mix. Add refined flour + 3 tbsp cornflour. Mix. Add a splash of water. Gradually add more cornflour, mixing lightly after each. Let it rest.

3️⃣ Deep Frying:
Heat oil to 165°C. Shake off extra flour. Fry in batches. Cover with a lid for 1 min (to avoid popping), then fry till golden and crispy. Drain well.

4️⃣ Tossing:
Heat oil, sauté onion, ginger, garlic, bell peppers, and chillies. Add crispy corn, vinegar, seasoning, sugar. Toss well. Finish with spring onion greens.
