Some describe rough shooting as the purest form of sport to be had with a shotgun, but conditions may be harsh, the outcome always unpredictable and uncertain.
Set in the West Midlands of England, Alex, together with his family and friends join together for a rough, family walked-up shoot. His father, godfather and grandmother with their working dogs push through some of the old woods and ponds to flush out any wild game birds for Alex and his team of guns to wait for. Truly a humbling and wholesome day as he displays that there is so much more to a shoot than just the shooting. It is about spending a day out with family and friends, and appreciating the traditions, history and beauty of the english countryside.
