enver has always desperately tried to do the right thing. to be a good son, a good brother, and someday a good ruler. his father's murder makes him lord of high elysia, and war is most certainly on the horizon with oakhollow.

amidst the chaos, enver captures eirlys, an oakhollow elf who once came between princes rónán and éoghan. she makes him question everything he knows, drawing him away from his path and into a darkness he cannot resist. but eirlys' allegiances are not what they seem.
