🎛️ Bach on a Modular Synthesiser 🎛️

Here's my arrangement of Johann Sebastian Bach's Prelude in C Minor (BWV 999) performed on a Doepfer A-100 modular synthesiser.

Bach's music has an extraordinary clarity and structure that lends itself beautifully to synthesis. Recreating this piece on a modular system meant building every sound from the ground up, carefully shaping each voice to bring out the character and emotion of the original while giving it a distinctive analogue electronic texture.

It's always rewarding to explore how timeless classical music can take on a new life through modular synthesis.
