Wells Run Dry: written by Jessi McKinnon @ Jessi's Cellar Series

This is an original song written a year or so ago. I've included the lyrics in case you can't understand them in the video. I had to use a different mic and also have a good amount of snare drum "rattling" in the background.
The lyrics might ring true for you as well. "Running out of tears." It's a "phenomenon" I've been experiencing for a while now and it's affected me enough to want to write a song about it.
Blessings and thanks for listening...

"Wells Run Dry"

A sad, dramatic movie scene, a popcorn bag, a center seat,
Not a dry eye in the house except for mine.
I've begun to think my well's run dry.

My blue sky turned the darkest gray when I lost a friend just yesterday, but I lack a flow of tears and wonder why.
And I'm left to think my well's run dry.

(chorus) It's been said and said again,
I know you've heard it my friend,
"The pain is bound to go away in time."
But do we get a little stronger?
Do our hearts just get harder?
Or could it be our wells run dry?

Friend I know you feel the same, you get tired of playing life's cruel game. Gotta lift each other up in prayer sometimes.
'cause many of our wells are runnin' dry.

(chorus)

Bridge:
Even clouds release their rain on a stormy day.

(chorus)

The nurse comes in...says "a little pinch."
When you're just a kid, there's a little flinch,
Then, you brag about the tears you didn't cry.
