Budget goldfish pond with bog filter

This is a fish pond i built last summer. It was a quick and easy project. In the beginning i had issues with water clarity. The pond water was very green. At first i thought I'll just wait a few months until the new pond syndrome passes but it didn't.
So i decided to add a bog filter. Some people call these vegetable filters or wetland filters. Whatever you call them they all do the same thing, combining plants and bacteria to filter the water.
This particular filter is holds about 130 litres or 34 Gallons. Which is equal to 10% of the pond volume. The results were amazing so i thought id share with others.
Within 3 weeks the pond water was crystal clear. At time of upload it's been 6 months since i installed the filter and the pond just keeps looking better and better.
The most amazing thing is that its been absolutely zero maintenance! I mean none at all! After this success i will never own a pond without a bog filter.
