I Played Drums with Nicko McBrain and THIS Happened

I was incredibly lucky to play drums with Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden this weekend. He's an incredibly humble fellow with a very unique sense of time. Like many of you, i've played along to The Trooper and Wasted Years since I was a kid, but being there alongside him in real time was an unforgettable experience. Aside from his great persona, Nicko has spent the better part of the century cultivating a sense of rhythm that I feel is unparalleled in the realm of metal drumming. He swings the groove like a champion, perhaps this is what makes his gallop feel so authentic and genuine.

This was taken from Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in Florida. It was an amazing experience, and only captures a GLIMPSE into what Rock Camp offers. I highly recommend the experience
