Preshading using a sponge? How good will be? Check our video and decide!

After priming the resin Black Dog Diorama base (D35093, 60mm x 60mm) with water based acrylic Lifecolor primer Black BC07 using a flat brush, we let it to dry thoroughly (see our first video: Priming with brush). As I wanted to try something new and I was trying to avoid the airbrush (avoid the cleaning procedure afterwards), I decided to use a sponge and a Matt White from Lifecolor acrylics LC01. As the paint is matt but not dead flat with a lot of pigment with fine particles and the paint is fluid directly from the jar the result is excellent, at least for preshading a scenic base.
