After the UNSC Pelican entered a wormhole, Spartan 117, also known as Master Chief or John, and Cortana are lost in space. Unsure how long it'll take for humanity to find Master Chief, he enters a cryotube, leaving Cortana in isolation. While she's alone, Cortana recounts Master Chief's early years. How he grew to become one of the best Super Soldiers. John along with 150 other candidates were utilized and trained at an early year to become the ultimate weapon. This training program was known as the Spartan II program, and after years of training, only 75 candidates underwent augmentation to further enhance their bodies. With only half of them surviving, they were equipped with Mjolnir armor becoming full on Super Soldiers. Master Chief and his squad, Sam and Kelly are tasked with entering a ship that belongs to an advanced civilization known as the Covenant. This alien species has declared war on humanity and it is up to Master Chief and his team to stop them.
