It's the open division playoffs and the competition did not disappoint. For your game of the week, the Cathedral Catholic Dons host the Mission Hills Grizzlies. Both teams sit at 8-2 on the season. Cathedral's 2 losses were to powerhouses Centennial and De La Salle, the no. 13 and no. 50 prep football teams in the nation, respectively. The Grizzlies overcame two significant QB injuries this season and kept 9 of 10 opponents to 2 or fewer scores this season.

Cathedral wins this one and will go on to play the undefeated Carlsbad Lancers featuring Julian Sayin, Matt Moore, Josh Davis and Anthony Ferrelli, on November 20, 2021 at Escondido High School.
