God wants us Christians to understand that being close to the sinner does not imply relativizing his sin, but rather loving him so that Christ can redeem him. We have to look for strange people and welcome them into our lives. Let's learn to put His face to the pain, the need, the enemy and the sinner, and we will see how everything changes. Let us not forget that, as followers of Christ, we were recruited to be part of an army of compassion.
