Alfaparf Milano USA - Lisse Design Keratin Therapy: Express Method

Sometimes the client may not have the time to commit to a Lisse Design Smoothing Treatment. You can accelerate the process using our new Express Method.

STEP 1: Apply Lisse Design Keratin Therapy Deep Cleansing Shampoo on damp hair. Massage to obtain a smooth foam on the hair and rinse. Repeat for a second time and rinse. Blow-dry hair 100%.

STEP 2: Divide hair into 4 sections (6 if hair is very long). Put on gloves. Pour 2.70 Fl. Oz (80 ml) of Smoothing Fluid or Silver Smoothing Fluid into the Mousse Maker. Quantity is indicative and may change according to hair length, porosity and density. Take 1 inch (2 cm) sections. Beginning ¼ inch from the scalp, apply plentiful amount of mousse. Using gloved hands, spread mousse through lengths and ends. Do not comb through, leave the hair very wet.

STEP 3: Cover the hair with a plastic cap and leave for 20 minutes under heat. Remove plastic cap and leave for 5 minutes at room-temperature. Rinse the product for 15 seconds in case of short hair and 30 seconds in case of long hair. Apply Rehydrating Mask on damp hair and leave on for 5 minutes.

STEP 4: Rinse thoroughly the product for 15 seconds in case of short hair and 30 seconds in the case of long hair. Blow dry with hands until 80% dry, then complete with brush and dryer.

STEP 5: Begin flat ironing. Take partings of a maximum of ¼ inch (0.5cm).

A: For coarse, resistant or virgin hair, set the temperature of the flat iron between 400F to 410F (200C to 210C) and pass the iron 8 to 10 times per section.

B: For normal hair, set the temperature of the flat iron between 380F to 400F (190C to 200C) and pass the iron 6 to 8 times per section.

C: For color treated hair, set the temperature of the flat iron between 350F to 370F (170C to 180C) and pass the iron 6 to 8 times per section.

D: For fine or damaged hair, high lift blonde, natural grey, double process, or over 75% highlighted or vibrant reds, set the temperature of the flat iron between 320F to 350F (160C to 170C) and pass the iron 7 to 9 times per section.
