How to REPLACE GARAGE DOOR SPRING * LiftMaster Garage Door Opener Repair Fix DIY Old Worn Stretched LiftMaster Garage Door Opener TENSION SPRINGS How to REPLACE Repair Fix DIY Old Worn Stretched
After buying the correct spring;
1) Unplug Garage Door Opener
2) Hand Open Garage
3) Unhood Spring
4) Remove Safety Cable Screw
5) Pull cable through
6) Remove Cable from J-hook
7) Remove Pulley
8) Put spring in Pulley and put back together
9) Thread Safety Cable
10) Attach/Secure Safety Cable
11) Open Garage Door and Prop open
12) Attach Cable to other side
13) Check to make sure Cable is running through Pulley
14) Tighten Safety Cable
15) Remove Boards
16) Set Garage Door Pull Cord to Locked Position
17) Test
18) Smile about a Job Well Done
19) Click the Like button
