Alligator hunting a very large carp

The alligator swam towards a clump of grass. In the grass was a large carp eating.
The gater waited and went in and out of the water a bit.
The carp's fin came out of the water on the right side of the frame.
Then the gater then swam around and slowly went after the carp.
I can't tell if it got him and went after another one or if he missed him.

The unedited footage is 30 min. long. A whole lot of waiting.
