IT WAS GREAT UNTIL THESE PEOPLE RUINED IT (VanLife UK)

This week we visit the Lake District in our full time UK van life series! All is going so well until we find ourselves in a situation we're not okay with! Maybe it is just us or maybe you agree but car parks are car parks and not campsites. Councils have begun to offer overnight parking in some areas and it is up to us not to ruin that opportunity by treating them like full on campsites and party areas.

We may sound like a couple of old biddies but we don't want the these new designated parking areas to be taken away because of behaviour locals don't want or can complain about.

Anyway, rant over! In this week we take a lovely trip over to the lake district! One of the most beautiful areas in the UK and only an hour and a half away from our base!

We spend the weekend doing quintessentially British things with family and have an overall lovely British summer weekend!
