How much work was actually completed at a point in time based on the plan. Derived by measuring actual work completed at a point in the schedule
The actual cost (the money spent) of the work already done at a point in time based on the plan
The variance between what we expected to spend and what was actually spent
The variance between where we planned to be in the schedule and where we actually are in the schedule
The rate at which the project performance is meeting cost expectations during a given period of time
The rate at which the project performance is meeting schedule expectations up to a point in time
Projecting the total cost at completion
Forecasting how much more will be spent on the project, based on past performance
The variance between what was originally budgeted and what will actually be spent.
The rate at which the project performance meets cost expectations from the beginning up to a point in time. Can also forecast the project’s cost at completion
Performance that must be achieved in order to meet financial goals. When targeting the original budget,

PV = Planned % Complete X BAC
EV = Actual % Complete X BAC
Sum of the costs for the given period of time
CV = EV - AC
SV = EV - PV
CPI = EV ÷ AC
SPI = EV ÷ PV
EAC = BAC ÷ CPIC
ETC = EAC - AC
VAC = BAC - EAC
CPIC = EVC ÷ ACC
TCPIC = (BAC – EV) ÷ Remaining funds
TCPIC = (BAC – EV) ÷ Remaining funds
