Kurla railway police learns BLS & First aid techniques from Kohinoor Hospital

Kohinoor Hospital conducted 'Basic Life Support & First training' exclusively for Kurla Railway Police on Wednesday, 29 November, 2017 at Kurla Railway Junction.
More than 30 policemen participated in the event including their head- Police Inspector- Mr. Mahesh Balwantrao. Kurla GRP learned on how to save people in case of accidents and heart strokes with BLS & First aid techniques.
Nurse trainer and educator Miss. Ashlin Tomas taught these lessons to policemen on behalf of Kohinoor Hospital and Mr. Denny Daniel assisted her in demonstration.
Police Inspector Mr. Balwantrao said while thanking hospital team, "We are touched with one unfortunate event happened last week. One of our policemen died out of heart stroke and we could not save him. That made us realise the need for this type of training. Hence we approached Kohinoor Hospital. We all policemen learn these techniques at the beginning of our career. But hardly remember anything over the span. We needed a proper revision of it. Today's training has greatly helped us to brush up our knowledge."
