Sea Lion Sound birthdays!

A summer full of birthdays!

There are 10 pinnipeds that live at the Zoo, and all of them are born in the summer months. Each California sea lion and harbor seal was gifted a birthday “cake” by our fabulous Sea Lion Sound team.

Ella turned 15 and celebrated her first birthday here in St. Louis! Naturally, she was given an STL-themed cake featuring toasted ravioli, baseball and, of course, the Arch! Our oldest pinnipeds, Roby and Nuna, celebrated their 22nd and 24th birthdays, respectively. Join us in wishing the happiest of birthdays to our sea lions and seals!
