AT&T Prepaid - 100GB / $55/mo for Hotspots, Routers & Tablets: Great Deal Plan Upgrade!

Quietly over the weekend, AT&T Prepaid has upgraded their Great Deal mobile hotspot and tablet plan to now include 100GB of high speed data for $55/month.

PRICING CHANGE UPDATE: When this plan released over the weekend, it was clearly listed as $50/mo (see the screen cap in the video). But mid-day on Monday April 26, AT&T updated their page to to show $55/month - which is what we were charged when we signed up today.

The plan is available for hotspots, tablets and seemingly - routers.

When combined with other high cap data plans on the market (like the T-Mobile Mobile Internet plan at the same price), it's now possible to assemble plans providing hundreds of GBs of data for an affordable price without resorting to 3rd Party Resellers or smudging terms of services on plans not authorized for hotspot usage.
