‘Journalistic malpractice’: ABC under fire for having a bias which ‘only ever goes one way’

Quillette Founding Editor Claire Lehmann says when it comes to specific topics such as gender medicine and climate, the bias of the ABC “only ever goes one way”.

“It’s absolutely journalistic malpractice … I was shocked when I saw that speech,” Ms Lehmann told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“They selectively ignore and omit facts … any time there’s sort of a contentious issue or a polarised issue; the bias goes one way.

“When it comes to gender medicine, biological males in women’s sport, climate, the bias only ever goes one way.”
