VRS Performance 580bhp Seat Leon Cupra 280 TSI

The VRS Performance Seat Leon Cupra was at the DAS AUTO Show at Santa Pod Raceway. It is a 280 TSI model, which has had a 4wd conversion, along with a Turbo Technics v5 Turbo and associated modifications, pushing the power up to 580bhp. It also has the DQ250 gearbox upgraded to a DQ500. The car managed a best run of 10.97 @ 127mph, but with some better track focused tyres, this should drop to the mid to low 10's. They will be back out later in the year trying to improve on this.
