Abbott Elementary of course is hilarious and an absolute hit! Here’s the thing, as black people we should tread lightly when talking about gorillas, monkeys, Planet of The Apes. All of that, because let’s be real. They’ve always compared black people to monkeys. Listen, as a comedian sometimes we walk the line. I do it too! But we have to be careful with it.
