Leopard takes down an impala in Majete Wildlife Reserve

"Sorry I'm late, it was the leopards fault!" 🐆

Our country manager, Johan, had an extraordinary experience in Majete WIldlife Reserve while driving out to a meeting.

He had just left Mkulumadzi Lodge when he witnessed a magnificent leopard gracefully take down an impala for lunch.

Johan had his phone close by and managed to capture the leopard who was by now enjoying the feast before getting slightly conscious of his presence and moving the kill further away.

Thank goodness for the incredible footage, as Johan had a good excuse for being fashionably late to the meeting - "Sorry, I got held up by a leopard taking down an impala!" 🤷‍♂️🕰️

Who could argue with that?
