Birds in Watercolor

I have had a goal for a while of making more dynamic sketchbook pages by showing movement in the animals. I have a habit of just painting an animal straight on. But having absolutely no ability to visualize anything, this can be tough, so I devised a way to make the parts of the bird so that I could reposition them on the page to create different movements in the birds. If you don't want to cut out the templates, you don't have to. You can just draw them!

In this lesson we will use the following supplies, which can be found on my Website at https://www.cozylark.com/ but any supplies will work

24 color essential palette

Large watercolor sketchbook or any sketchbook or piece of watercolor paper

Size 10 round brush I show a size 8 too in the beginning of the video, but I only end up using the 10

Colored pencils

Regular pencil

Scissors and a piece of scrap paper
