01:00:36 Valley cottage. Man pulls up in a horse and cart. A woman and two little girls come out of the cottage. They all wear traditional Welsh dress. C/U of the two girls admiring the view - they wear the typical Welsh black hats. A basket containing what looks like dead birds is lifted into the back of the cart. L/S of the family riding over a bridge.
01:01:25 Eisteddfod. Various shots of adults and children in traditional Welsh costume at the Royal National Eisteddfod. Procession of "bards" - they will be choosing the prize winning poets of the year. Various shots of the procession and those watching it.
01:02:00 "Wales is a land of poetry and song. A Welshman who cannot sing is a contradiction in terms" states the narrator. The bards walk beside some standing stones. Various shots of bards in costume. "Land of My Fathers" is sung by the large crowd gathered in parkland.
01:02:32 Various scenic shots - landscapes, waterfalls, lakes, rivers etc. Various shots of an unidentified castle. A family walks up the drawbridge.

The 12th Century church is seen in L/S and M/S. L/S of steep winding road on the promontory. L/S of the Great Orme Railway tram making its way down the steep hill.
01:07:24 C/U of the crest of the Talyllyn Railway Company. M/S of men cleaning the engine of a steam train.
01:07:40 The route of the Tallylyn Railway runs from Tywyn to Abergynolwyn. Oil is applied to the pistons - poured from a teapot. Various shots of tourists climbing aboard the narrow gauge train. The train is waved off. C/U of the engine "Edward Thomas". C/U of the wheels turning as the train moves off. Various shots of it moving through the countryside including point of view shots from the front of the train.

The boys are youngsters from the Outward Bound Sea School at Aberdaron (?) This is a school which emphasises character building and the development of powers of leadership. Various shots of the boys rock climbing. Dr Charles Evans is mentioned - a famous Welsh rock climber.
01:11:37 M/S of a woman climber admiring the view from the summit of a Welsh mountain. As the narrator recounts how holidaymakers often return again and again to Wales we see shots of the Welsh countryside. Scenes of traditional Welsh dancing as a woman plays a harp end the film.
