The "Last Lecture" - Featuring Leslie Cramblet Alvarez and Tracy Doyle - Autumn @ Adams 2013

Speaking from experience as professors, mother, musician, and women, Dr. Leslie Cramblet Alvarez, associate professor of psychology, and Dr. Tracy Doyle, professor and chair of music, address the audience during the Last Lecture event of the 2013 Adams State University Autumn@Adams Week.

Alvarez said her talk, "The "Last" Lecture...or, hopefully, just-under-mid-career musings on life and lessons," will be in part autobiographical and address how she fell in love with psychology and became an educator even though she never wanted to teach. "I'll also talk about my life lessons so far and how I'm still developing as a person."

Doyle titled her presentation, "The Long and Winding Road..." She said: "Our journey through life can be compared to traveling a road, sometimes straight and narrow, and other times, as The Beatles described it, 'long and winding.' We may not know why life takes us from one point to another, until looking in the rear view mirror, at which point it becomes crystal clear."
