Matthew, the tax collector, had a mind unlike any other, yet he chose to use it for the glory of himself and not for God; it was a logical choice, and he was shunned and hated by his own family and people for his actions. But when the "impossible" happened before him, his reality crumbled, and every fundamental ideal in his life regarding people and power became meaningless. He had a destiny for greatness, but if no one would remember his name, then what was the point of his wealth and power amongst his people?
