Hit Man: premiere episode (1/3/83)
Hit Man is one of my favorite hidden gem/more obscure game shows. It had such a short life on the air but it was such a nice concept that I wish gained more viewers than it did, and Peter Tomarken as great as usual. Love his narrations for the history video packages!! Last night I went down a YouTube rabbit hole and wanted to listen to the theme again because it's a bop imo and then happened to see that almost every upload of this show on YouTube is in absolute atrocious quality. Like, I'm not gonna pretend any of the episodes in my collection are pristine, but frankly these uploads by other people on this website are inexcusably bad and I wish I knew this earlier. So I'm going to try and help this little show out with some better quality uploads from my collection.
Our first episode will be the premiere from January 3rd, 1983, a cool day in game show history as Sale of the Century and the short-lived Betty White game show Just Men! also both made their debuts on NBC on this date (saying this in the description so that poindexters don't flood the comments like usual). Our subjects will be The Wizard of Oz and the history of jeans. Expect a couple more episodes coming up!!
