The composer and theatre impresario discusses the future of theatre, in his first interview since meeting with MP’s and restarting his Covid-19 vaccination trial. Is he now worried that the study was suspended after another volunteer fell ill? Lord Webber is leading the campaign to save our stages and has already spent £100,000 on a pilot project, trialling measures at the London Palladium, in the hope that it could allow theatres to get up and running again.
