Practical Workflow for Implementing Laser Scan Technology in Construction Projects 🚧✨

In this video, we explore a practical step-by-step workflow for applying Laser Scan technology during the construction phase — focusing on the implementation of an FVP (Field Verification Plan) to boost accuracy and reduce costly rework.

We used the Trimble Inc. Inc. X9 device paired with Trimble RealWorks software to capture and process highly accurate scan data — supporting the detailed execution of the FVP with precision.

Additionally, we integrated RCP files with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and ReCap Pro, allowing seamless web-based inspection of panoramic views and point cloud data directly on ACC.

This approach enabled us to:
• Generate As-built Drawings (RLD)
• Build accurate As-built Models (RLM)
• Detect design deviations early
• Improve coordination and site documentation
In addition, we linked the RCP files with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and ReCap Pro, enabling us to browse panoramic views and Point Cloud data captured by the Trimble device on ACC, allowing for easy and efficient site inspection through the web.
