EFAP #217: A lesson in hurt egos and loss of credibility

The EFAP crew in their 11 hour #217 episode had bandwagon lines of thought against Synthetic Man's review of God of War: Ragnarok. Ignorance, poor arguments, and groupthink ensue.

This is not to say SM's take was 100% technical or objective, or that EFAP was always missing the mark. But their response was riddled with whataboutisms, racist arguments, inability to understand reason and comedy, completely forgetting or ignoring context and lore, appeal to emotion, ad hominems, and hating that the Synthetic Man has a sponsor. (Not Raid Shadow Legends!)

Oh, and some bad faith arguments and comedy (nice deceptive clipping job of his stream and video there.)

Ever heard of pectoral muscles on deadlifters? Ever seen them? Do you have eyes? Was the pause screen too much evidence?
Gods are not "prescriptive"? Really, Rags?
Theo: You don't know the migratory behavior of giant black people to Scandinavia.
Mauler: Raising other father's children is a chad move.
Mauler: The present character invalidates the past games. It's like they never happened. Characters just...change with time.
Rags: [I] never played any of the games.
Also Rags: "I really, really enjoy this games story and characters."

Next time Mauler, let people who actually played the game, on the stream. I hear that helps with credibility and having a meaningful conversation.
